How is Reimbursement Determined |

Reimbursements are calculated by applying your reimbursement percentage first, then your deductible. This can lead to being reimbursed less than companies that subtract the deductible BEFORE applying the reimbursement percentage.

In addition to paying the veterinarian and then being reimbursed at a later date, Fursure has the option of on-the-spot reimbursement with Fursure Direct Pay. Customers must apply and be approved for the Fursure Debit Card.
According to their website: "Once we approve funds for Fursure Direct Pay (typically within 15 minutes for ongoing visits and a few days for future visits), we will confirm in the app so you know how much you have available to spend on your upcoming visit."
The website doesn't explain if/how Fursure Direct Pay works for visits you do not know about in advance, like emergency situations.
